• Hidden gem! It was perfect. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Very well equipped. Spacious. Huge king bed with luxury bedding. 10+ pubs within 10 minutes drive. One pub within 5 minutes walk from property. Follow the hosts guidebook restaurant recommendations! Great route for 5km runs from the front door. Big TV. Strong pressure shower and bath. Gas BBQ. Peaceful and private. Incredibly beautiful and picturesque surrounding area. Very well manicured gardens and overall very well maintained property.

  • Karen and Hugh were brilliant hosts. Excellent communication both before and during, and the actual place itself is incredible - the photos (which are amazing themselves anyway!) actually don’t do it justice. We both said the bed is probably the comfiest we’ve ever slept in and that the place was the best we’ve ever stayed in. There were so many little touches considered and great recommendations in the book. It was lovely seeing the dogs and horses out about as well. Thank you for being so accommodating ❤️

The Dovecote is more than 5* as Karen has thought of everything you would want in an AirBnB and then added even more to make it truly memorable.
