Can I book direct or do I have to book via AirBnB?
You can book to stay via this website by going to the booking tab at the top of the page or via AirB&B using the button in the top right hand corner of the page. The Airbnb page will give you information about availability.

How much does it cost and is there a minimum stay?
Costs will vary depending on dates and length of stay, but as general guidelines the current rates are:
Between 1st May and 30th September (when the pool is heated and available to our Dovecote guests) a two night stay is £420 for Friday and Saturday nights and £400 between Monday and Thursday. Extra nights are £150.
Between 30th September and 30th April a two night stay is generally £360 for Friday and Saturday nights and £340 between Monday and Thursday. Extra nights are £120. Over the Christmas and New Year period it is £420 for two nights and extra nights are £160.
There is a minimum stay of two nights

Is there parking available?
There is parking for vehicles in front of The Dovecote in the yard, which has electric gates.
Please note that the yard is shared with the main house and the stables, so there may be horses and dogs in the yard, however they are all friendly!

What other additional services are there at The Dovecote?
We provide a continental breakfast in the Dovecote of croissants (frozen), butter, jam and marmalade, organic milk and muesli.
There is a Nespresso coffee maker and a choice of capsules. Olive oil, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and chocolates are also provided.
During the summer months, the swimming pool is available by prior arrangement.
For guests staying a week or more a laundry service can be offered.
Electric vehicle charging is also available by prior arrangement

Can I bring children or pets?
Unfortunately The Dovecote is not suitable for children or pets.
In addition, it is not suitable for people who have mobility issues due to the stairs.

Are there any guidelines for the stay?
We request you not to smoke in the Dovecote.
No filming is allowed on the premises except by prior agreement.
We ask you not to invite additional guests unless agreed with us in advance
If you should cause damage to the Dovecote, the surroundings or the furniture, fixtures and fittings, you may be charged for the cost of cleaning, repairs etc.
